How do I join Airbnb's Co-host Network?

Airbnb's 2024 Winter Released has "introduced" the Co-Host Network.

We put "introducing" between quotes because there was already a database for hiring co-hosts and managing Airbnb listings.

However, the 2024 Winter Release has enhanced that section, making it clearer, available on the mobile app, and ultimately easier for hosts to find co-hosts.

Hosts that meet certain criteria, can apply to become Co-Hosts and offer their services to other hosts in the network.

That is certainly a good opportunity for those of you who have some spare time, like hosting, and have a good standing.

In this article, we'll dive deeper into how to apply to become a co-host and be featured in the Co-Host Network, and what that means.

How can I apply to join Airbnb's Co-Host Network?

Applying is very easy.

To do it, you should simply log into your Airbnb account and fill out the form you will find here.

After you fill out the form and submit it, if you're eligible, you will be emailed with the next steps (make sure to check the email address connected to your Airbnb account).

You will then be asked to set up your Co-Host Network profile.

What are the eligibility requirements to be added to Airbnb's Co-Host Network?

The Co-Host Network is not for anyone.

To join the network, the following criteria must be met:

  • Identity must have been verified;
  • You must have an active listing as a host, full-access co-host, or calendar and messaging access co-host;
  • You must have hosted either 10+ stays or 3+ stays accumulating to 100+ nights both in the past 12 months as a host or co-host;
  • You must have maintained an average guest rating of 4.8 or more across all accounts and listings that you support as a host, full-access co-host, and calendar and messaging access co-host in the past 12 months;
  • Your cancellation rate must be less than 3% (with exceptions made for certain valid reasons beyond your control);
  • You must meet name and photo requirements to be displayed on the network
